How is the post-operative and results of a Liposuction?
It is a painful procedure, but with a good tolerance response in the majority of patients. The patient must attend postoperative massages from the day after surgery and for 10 continuous days, they will have a drain through which liquid is removed, the drain is taken out between 5-6 days after surgery, they must use a girdle for at least 24 hours for at least 1 month and will present swelling that can take up to 3 months to disappear, and bruising that can last up to 1 month. Recovery is progressive and the patient will be able to go back to their usual activities between 8-10 days after the procedure, physical activity should be postponed up to 30 days after the surgical procedure.
